Hello again!!! We have come to the end of another year. This course added a lot to me, I realized how much I didn't know, even though I was intertwined with technology. I discovered things I had never experienced before, like using corpus.  I am sure that what I learned this year will be very useful in my future teaching career. When I evaluated the whole semester, my favorite homework was to prepare AR integrated teaching material. Seeing the resources in this field was a great experience even for me. I am very happy to be able to take this lesson and thank you very much to my teacher, he explained every detail to us very well. I haven't been involved in such a good lecture in a long time. I enjoyed all the tasks I did.  Maybe someday I will have another blog and we'll meet there! Until then, take care of yourself...💞

Hello!!!  Our final task was to prepare a research paper for students. We used webquest for this task.   Our new assignment is to create AR Integrated Teaching Material. First of all, I would like to put a definition of AR that I found on the internet: Augmented reality (AR) augments your surroundings by adding digital elements to a live view, often by using the camera on a smartphone. (splunk.com).  Thanks to the developing technology, many new things have entered our lives. This is one of them. Its resources are also increasing. I worked with my friend and we included 360° videos in this task. Students will be able to see the places to be discovered with the code they will read from their phones as if they were there. This will help them answer questions. I think this kind of material will be of great interest to students. It should definitely be used more often in classrooms. Hi everyone!!! I miss you.  In the last two weeks, we learned about flipped teaching. This method is very helpful for teachers to continue learning outside the classroom. Of course, it can also be used in the classroom depending on preference. We can teach our students grammar and vocabulary by using this method. There are lots of apps for this purpose. And our task was to create a flipped teaching video. We worked together with my friend Aslı (...) and we choose the app ''renderforest'' for this task. It was easy to use. I think this method is very useful and it's perfect for students because visually supporting the information helps the students. It can also facilitate time management in the classroom because a flipped teaching video that will be given as homework to watch will make it easier to understand the subject. Hello, we have been working on corpus for a while.  Corpus is a large collection of texts selected in a systematic way and stored as an electronic database. And this database is often used in linguistics to validate rules.  The idea of ​​integrating this into language teaching can provide many benefits for the learning process of students. They can learn to the smallest detail of the word they are learning. They can easily understand the differences between the confused word pairs through many examples. this system can provide hundreds of sentence examples for a word for students. This can facilitate vocabulary acquisition. However, since the use of the corpus may seem confusing at first, attention should be paid to giving students a full insturction. Even I still have a lot of things to solve, so even though I tried my best, at some points I couldn't do the things I wanted to do. But I will continue to improve myself in this regard. In this week's lesson, we learn about the history of the use of technology in language education. And our task is to create a timeline.  So, in this post, I'll share a timeline that I create about technology and language learning with you. I used the Canva app to create this timeline. I love Canva. Its style and interface are simple and it's easy to use. So I can recommend this application to you. I am sure you will like it. But I spend lots of time while I create something by using this app because it provides a wide variety of design types. I want to try all of the colors, fonts, and templates :) But I really enjoyed this task. While I was collecting information I was surprised and I thought about old times. I realized how it was hard to access information. We're lucky to be born in this era because we have endless possibilities for knowledge. :) It certainly makes our life's easier.  My timeline is here. It's been a long time since I've been here, but I'm here again and I'm so happy to come together!  I missed you so much!  When I started writing this blog months ago, I was very excited and could spend hours on even the simplest posts. There was so much for me to discover. But now I am sure that I will prepare the posts in a much more comfortable and enjoyable way.
