Hello, we have been working on corpus for a while.  Corpus is a large collection of texts selected in a systematic way and stored as an electronic database. And this database is often used in linguistics to validate rules.  The idea of ​​integrating this into language teaching can provide many benefits for the learning process of students. They can learn to the smallest detail of the word they are learning. They can easily understand the differences between the confused word pairs through many examples. this system can provide hundreds of sentence examples for a word for students. This can facilitate vocabulary acquisition. However, since the use of the corpus may seem confusing at first, attention should be paid to giving students a full insturction. Even I still have a lot of things to solve, so even though I tried my best, at some points I couldn't do the things I wanted to do. But I will continue to improve myself in this regard. In this week's lesson, we learn about the history of the use of technology in language education. And our task is to create a timeline.  So, in this post, I'll share a timeline that I create about technology and language learning with you. I used the Canva app to create this timeline. I love Canva. Its style and interface are simple and it's easy to use. So I can recommend this application to you. I am sure you will like it. But I spend lots of time while I create something by using this app because it provides a wide variety of design types. I want to try all of the colors, fonts, and templates :) But I really enjoyed this task. While I was collecting information I was surprised and I thought about old times. I realized how it was hard to access information. We're lucky to be born in this era because we have endless possibilities for knowledge. :) It certainly makes our life's easier.  My timeline is here. It's been a long time since I've been here, but I'm here again and I'm so happy to come together!  I missed you so much!  When I started writing this blog months ago, I was very excited and could spend hours on even the simplest posts. There was so much for me to discover. But now I am sure that I will prepare the posts in a much more comfortable and enjoyable way. Hello, welcome to my blog 💖 One semester is over and this is my last post for this course. Before this lesson, I knew that technology is very important in our age and should definitely be included in education. But I had no idea how this could be diversified. Thanks to this course, I have learned many methods that can be both educational and entertaining for students. I hope I will use it in the future. And English teaching can be facilitated by these methods. For example, speaking practice is not possible in the classroom, but it can be improved with these methods. Well, it was my favorite infographic when I evaluated all the tasks. I enjoyed it very much while designing. It can be adapted to many subjects, so it can develop the imagination while learning very useful. What I found most useless was the task of preparing a poster. Welcome to my blog! 💖 This week I want to share our PSA with you. Digital storytelling is an activity that I think can be very useful for many language learners. Especially children who have just started to learn the language can learn by having fun with this method.   It's a great way to boost creativity.  We decided to prepare a PSA with my 2 friends and we chose dolphinariums as a subject.  While two people were vocalizing, one person made the video. I enjoyed it very much.  I think it is an easy and instructive method so  I'll definitely try this method with my students in the future.  It will also help them become more confident in speaking while developing their creativity.  Welcome to my blog!!! 💞 This week  our task was to create an infographic. We shared tips to increase the efficiency of online education. I used the Canva app to prepare the infographic. The app is very easy and fun to use. I enjoyed preparing the infographic. It's a very useful way to share different information and visually it's very attractive. Hello to all of you, welcome back to my blog 💖💫 This week our task was to create an online poster. I chose to make a movie poster. We should have picked a book for it, and I chose Hannibal, my favorite book. It has been already adapted into the movie but I've created my own poster independent of its real poster. I created it in dark tones as it is themed about fear. I hope you like it.  I used the Canva app to make the poster. It is very comfortable to use and offers many options.  Will I use it in the future? I don't think so. We can develop students' creativity with this kind of task but I don't think it will be beneficial for language use.
